Meeting Minutes
March 11, 2010

Call to Order:
President Dudley Fetzer called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
in the Richmond Power and Light Auditorium.
The meeting minutes were approved for the
January 14, 2010 board meeting. Randy Baker so moved. Bill
Pendley seconded. The motion was unanimously approved.
Financial Report:
The balance
sheet was shared and discussed. It was noted that the Tourism
Bureau purchase several photos from Waynet. Richard Peterson moved
to approve the Balance Sheet. Jodi Johnson seconded. The motion was
unanimously approved.

Highlights:

The
Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce is no longer a member. Dennis
Andrews met with Jane to discuss their non-renewal. It is a
choice for financial reasons and this year they are not renewing
membership in other local non-profit organizations. They are
still linking to Waynet.org. Several other businesses did not
renew their memberships to Waynet.

Jane spoke
at a woman’s conference and led a discussion on social media.

Jane
created a Wayne County Bicentennial website and resource area on
Waynet.

Jane is
working through weeding of computer files and file maintenance.
Fee-Waived Associate Members:
Wayne County Vegan and Richmond Brainstorm's fee-waived associate member
status is up for renewal. Following discussion, David Burton
moved to approve both organizations for a fee waived associate
membership to Waynet. Gary Arndts seconded. The motion was
unanimously approved.
Website Redevelopment Discussion:
Jane is revising the new website site map. It is a work in process. She
wants the site to be search friendly. She will present several
design choices before a design is decided upon.
Committee Meetings:
Gary wants to call a marketing meeting. Jane wants to call a website
design meeting.
Adjournment:
Being no further business Dudley Fetzer asked for a motion to
adjourn. Jenie Lahmann so moved. Randy Baker seconded the motion.
The meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
