Approval of Minutes

Richard Peterson motioned approval of the November 15, 2015 meeting minutes, seconded by David Burton and the motion passed unanimously.

Mrs. Holman said WayNet is in the process of identifying our target markets and has worked to identify what department within a company decides on WayNet Membership and learned the top three were: 1) community benefit, 2) human resources and 3) promotion.

Mrs. Holman asked the board members why their company is a member and the focus fell on community involvement, community benefit, community outreach and promotional sponsorship.

Review of Financial Report:

Mrs. Holman noted we are currently operating in the red, we have lost some membership support and we have had a few higher expenses, so we have an unbalanced budget at the moment.

She shared a testimonial letter from Abstracts of Richmond, noting how pleased they were with the number and quality of job applicants, after posting their opening on WayNet.

Randy Baker motioned acceptance of the financials, seconded by Brad Glover and the motion passed.

Mrs. Holman reviewed the budget, and asked if we should keep the current 2016 budget, and then review in July, based on income scenarios. David Burton motioned to keep the budget as is, seconded by Tim Love and the motion passed unanimously.

New Business:

Director's Report

Mrs. Holman provided an update on membership as well as updated on County Connections, and activity on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Instagram. She reviewed the reports and analytics, and noted activity was stable.

Being no further business, Brad Glover motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Tim Love and the meeting adjourned.

Adjournment:

Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
