Annual Meeting

Present:

  • Rob Tidrow (Richmond Community Schools)
  • Jenie Lahmann (Morrisson-Reeves Library
  • Pam Merchanthouse (Friends Fellowship Community)
  • Dudley Fetzer (First Bank Richmond)
  • Bill Pendley (Potter's Wheel Bed and Breakfast)
  • Randy Baker (Richmond Power and Light)
  • Gary Arndts (Marketing & Creative Services)
  • Beth Fields (Wayne County Government)
  • Richard Peterson (Porter Advertising)
  • Tim Love (Reid Hosptial and Health Care Services)
  • Jane Holman (Executive Director, WayNet.org, Ex-Officio)

Call to Order:

President Rob Tidrow called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. in the Richmond Power and Light Board Room.

Old Business:

The July 19, 2012, minutes were reviewed. Gary Arndts motioned acceptance of the minutes and Jenie Lahmann seconded the motion. It passed unanimously.

New Business:

The balance sheet was reviewed. After a brief discussion, Dudley Fetzer made a motion to approve and it was seconded by Randy Baker. All were in favor.

Rob Tidrow expressed his appreciate to the Board and also Jane Holman's for efforts on behalf of WayNet. Also congratulations to Jane on the "Outstanding Show of the Year" for Wayne County Connection. Great job Jane!

The slate of nominees is as follows:

  • Pam Merchanthouse
  • Beth Fields
  • Tim Love
  • Dudley Fetzer
  • Gary Arndts

The following is the slate of officers for the 2012-2013 term:

  • Jenie Lahmann, President
  • Rob Tidrow, Vice-President/Treasurer
  • Pam Merchanthouse, Secretary

Richard Peterson made a motion to approve both slates. All were in favor.

We have one position open for the next term. Discussion was held on possibilities for this position. We have several good candidates. Consensus was to go back to committee, and they will decide the order to contact prospects.

Tim Love made a motion to approve and Bill Pendley seconded. All were in favor.

Jane Holman gave an overview of her report. She wanted to make sure the minutes noted a special thank you to David Burton. He was kind enough to assist Jane Holman with the copyright infringement issue dealt with since our last Board Meeting.

Richard Peterson made a motion to accept the Executive Director's Report and Bill Pendley seconded. All were in favor.

Adjournment:

Being no further business Rob Tidrow asked for a motion to adjourn and Bill Pendley seconded the motion. All approved and the meeting was adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
