Meeting Called to Order:

Vice-President Jenie Lahmann called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m. in the Richmond Power and Light Board Room.

Old Business:

The March 15, 2012, minutes were reviewed. Gary Arndts pointed out the incorrect spelling of his name. Richard Peterson made a motion to approve the minutes as amended and Jodi Johnson seconded the motion. It passed unanimously.

New Business:

We briefly discussed ideas for this upcoming celebration. Jenie Lahmann suggested a press release and special article on our Home Page. Jane Holman asked everyone to come up with ideas for our next meeting in July.

The balance sheet was reviewed. Randy Baker made a motion to approve and it was seconded by Dudley Fetzer. All were in favor.

Current membership figures were reviewed. Discussion was held regarding our Fee-Waived Associate Membership level. The Richmond Social Media group and Facebook group's applications were discussed. All agreed we should approved the Richmond Social Media group but add the Facebook cycling group as a resource.

A motion was made to let Jane Holman approve Facebook and/or social media links on a case-by-case basis. She will notify the Board of her decision. Jodi Johnson approved this motion and Tim Love seconded. All members approved.

Executive Director's Report (click to see the report):

Jane Holman gave a brief overview of her report. We reviewed the additional members joining WayNet. Jane asked everyone to "Like" WayNet on Facebook.

Jane Holman reminded everyone in September certain Board Members are up for renewal. Jodi Johnson will not continue to serve as a Board Member so we will need to find a replacement.

Adjournment:

Being no further business Jenie Lahmann asked for a motion to adjourn and Gary Arndts seconded the motion. All approved and the meeting was adjourned at 1:00 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Pam Merchanthouse
