Waynet Board Meeting

June 22, 1998

Approved 7/27/98

Members Present: David Fulton, Roger Smith, John Weber, Tim Broering and executive director Jane Holman.

Guests Present: Larry Turner, First Bank Richmond, N.A.

Larry Turner of First Bank Richmond, N.A.:

- Spoke about what First Bank Richmond is doing with their web site.

- First Bank has a website.

- Their customers can do PC banking via their web site.

They will be adding additional services to their web site that will allow their customers to do more and more via the internet.

Old Business:

Next month the nominating committee will report the following people have accepted being nominated to the Waynet Board of Directors:

Larry Turner First Bank Richmond

Nancy Wilson Marketing Director, Reid Hospital

Ross Josephson Sanyo-Verbatim

Tony Foster Small Business Development

New Business:

Fee waiver:

New Life Church of the Nazarene

(Action will be taken at the next meeting because a quorum was not present.)

Larry Turner

Suggested sending out e-mail proxies to board members on issues to be voted on

by the board members.

Executive Director’s Report:

Waynet is getting ready to put a Visitor Flyer out in various public locations:

Larry Turner suggested we offer sponsoring members the opportunity to buy visitor

flyers that would have a blurb about the sponsoring member so they might include

the flyers in with their mailings. Prices will be gathered on printing costs of the flyers

and will talk about it at the next meeting.

Waynet Flyer and sponsoring member flyer (splitting costs)

Need to check into a mailing for teachers of Richmond/Wayne County Schools for the fall. Will discuss later.
