Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary and her Lamb

Mary had a little lamb.
It's fleece was white as snow.
Everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day,
which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and
play to see a lamb at school.

Additional Nursery Rhymes

Wayne County, Indiana kindergarten teachers say that teaching children nursery rhymes helps them as they learn to read. In 2005, Wayne County featured a different nursery rhyme each month for a year.
