This PMI® Nutrition International manufacturing facility, a wholly owned subsidiary of Purina Mills, Inc.,  has been a Richmond landmark for over fifty years. 

This facility is used to manufacture LabDiet® products - diets used in research institutions throughout the world. They formulate and produce custom purified-ingredient and grain-based diets for animal research in academic, government, and pharmaceutical laboratories.

Each LabDiet® is manufactured exclusively at this ISO 9001:2000 Certified, drug and synthetic estrogen-free plant in Richmond, Indiana. The process techniques used at the plant are closely controlled to ensure lab animals get the Constant Nutrition™ that research requires.
