Crosley in Richmond, Indiana

The former Crosley factory at 1767 Sheridan Street in Richmond is one of the more recognizable buildings in the community. Now home to Optical Disc Solutions, Inc., this factory once produced Crosley automobiles and refrigerators.

John M. Westcott started the Hoosier Drill Company in Milton, Indiana in 1858. The company grew and expanded into Richmond and eventually became part of the American Seeding Machine Company, which, in turn, became part of the International Harvester Company.
