Marketing Committee Report:
Marketing Committee Chairperson, Gary Arndts, explained the
committee's proposal to create a “How
to Center” on the Waynet site. This allows Waynet members to
create a “How to” article. Business members would get a link to
their business at the bottom of the article. The intent is that the
article explains how to do something. The article is not intended to
be an advertisement. Jane will receive and review each contribution
before it is posted on the Center. This will make another marketing
tool available to members. Jane asked each Board member to submit an
article in order to help her make sure that the Center is working
properly. It is also important that the Center have content when it
goes “public”. The Center is now available via a login and password
for the Board.
The Center will be announced through a letter to members. A letter
informing non-members will be sent at a future date.
Bill Pendley moved that the addition of the “How to Center” be
approved. Seconded by Jodi Johnson. Motion carried.
