WayNet Board Meeting
March 08, 2007
Present:
• Gary Arndts President (Marketing & Creative Services)
• Jane Holman Executive Director, Ex Officio (WayNet.org)
• Jodi Johnson, Secretary (Western Wayne Schools)
• Randy Baker (Richmond Power & Light)
• Tim Love (Reid Hospital)
• Dudley Fetzer (First Bank Richmond)
Call to Order:
President Gary Arndts called the meeting to order at 12:13 p.m.
in the Richmond Power and Light Conference Room.
Old Business:
There was no action taken
on the minutes of the previous meeting due to a lack of a quorum.
There was no financial
report available. The balance as of March 8, 2007, was $9,627.34.
501 (c) (3)
Application:
Jane has received a
letter from the IRS acknowledging the withdrawal of our 501 (c) (3)
application. They have refunded $150 of our $900 fee.
Director’s Report:
Jane has received an update of our 2007 budget. She has also moved
our insurance to the VanVleet-Bartel Insurance Agency with a yearly
premium of $286. This covers liability and equipment only.
Jane reminded us that the Board needs to appoint a board member to
replace Misty Hollis and deal with one board member’s resignation.
Jane has talked with some possible nominees. She has no confirmation
from anyone at this time.
