Waynet Executive Board Meeting
January 25, 1999

Members Present: Tom Kirk, Rodger Smith,
Ross Josephson, Jane Holman, Misty Hollis, John Weber, Carol Smyth, Larry Turner, Pam
Frantz, and Cam Hart.
Minutes of previous meeting:
Motion to accept the minutes of the previous
meeting.
Carol Smyth - moved to accept minutes
Misty Hollis - seconded motion
Motion passed
Treasurer's report will be read at the next
meeting.

Business Plan Committee Report
John presented the Business Plan offering three
ways to meet the budgetary deficit. The committee, consisting of John Weber, Jane Holman,
Ross Josephson, and Pam Frantz, will meet again to finalize implementation plans for the
February meeting.

Not-For-Profit Criteria Committee Report
Misty presented the recommendations of the
committee ( Misty Hollis, Carol Smyth, Bill O'Hara, Larry Turner and Jane Holman) to waive
the $5.00 per month Not-For-Profit membership fee for only those agencies who have 501C(3)
certification. These agencies will provide supporting documentation. A confidentiality
statement should be put on the website for reviewing balance sheets.

Fee Waiver Applicants
First Friends Meeting - need 501C(3)
certification.
Girls, Inc. was approved.
Waynet Discussion List
Jane proposed creating a discussion list on
Waynet's website. She will send editor details and disclaimers via e-mail to board members
for approval.

Library Network
Rodger and Tom discussed an idea of the Wayne
County libraries setting up connections through the Waynet site. If this does indeed
happen, Waynet will have to provide a letter of commitment.
