Advertising/Marketing/Community Relations

Wayne County Connections TV Show (Mentioned as "Producer"/Page)
Ad in the 2009 Richmond/Wayne County map. We receive 50 maps to hand out, but more importantly, 3,500 to 4,000 are sent/given to area visitors at the Tourism Bureau, Police Dept., etc.
Twittering - we now have 149 followers - up from 125 followers at July meeting.

Issues & Projects for July/August/September

Set up a child calendar for the EDC
Complete the re-do of the Rose Garden page.
Ecard Section:
- Summersault has completed the new ecard program, donation value = ~$3,680.00
- Program works great - but there is an html bug that is not allowing the images to show up in I.E. and Opera.
- 71% of our visitors still use I.E., so this needs to be worked out before we begin using this.
- Removed old program as it was a target for spammers.
Continued working on ICNA dissolution. Balance as of 12/31/2009: $42,887.49 - approximately 5-8 organizations still involved.
Added/Removed members as required.
Off for a two week vacation and a long Labor Day weekend.
Website Maintenance:
- Added four new members to site and removed non-paying members.
- Added an "Add This" button to the home page.
- Add two new "How To" articles.
- Update Restaurant listing - Add & Remove as required
- Take photos/videos at State Fair Band Day, archive on site, Flickr and YouTube.
- Review and update page links & calendar events, as necessary. Take photos.

Log Analysis (as of August 31, 2009)
These figures were created by the AWStats program offered online by our web host. We also track usage with Google Analytics.

Monthly figures are now being posted on the Top Twenty page. Current average is 63,011 user sessions per month. Web page views are averaging 221,795. Users sessions increased 3% in August after a 16% dip in July. Page views increased by 1% in August after a 9% decrease in July. These decreases are normal for the active summer months and can also be somewhat attributed to the decrease in use of spammer traffic with the removal of the old e-card script.

2nd Quarter 2009 - Quarterly figures for user sessions increased 14% from 1st Quarter. Page views increased 40% in the second quarter following a small 4% increase in the 1st Quarter of 2009.

2008 Yearly Figures show a 17% increase to 780,140 users requesting 1,960,314 pages as compared to 668,203 users requesting 1,772,590 pages in 2007. This is a 17% increase in users and a 14% increase in page views over 2007.
