Advertising/Marketing/Community
Relations
- Received
approval to set up a "Include" calendar for the EDC website.

Richmond/Wayne County map. We receive 50 maps to hand out, but
more importantly, 3,500 to 4,000 are sent/given to area visitors at
the Tourism Bureau, Police Dept., etc.

Issues
& Projects for May/June/July

Ecard Section:
- Research Captcha
solutions for the e-card section, which has been receiving unusually
high traffic, indicating misuse.
- Receive approval
from Executive Committee to invite Summersault to quote on installing a
Captcha ($100 cap).
- Summersault counters
with an offer to write a revised program from scratch, with a Captcha,
that would incorporate our Flickr photos.
- Donation value =
~$3,350.00
- Working with the
summer intern for the Richmond Rose Garden to update the page.
- Research, follow-up
on ICNA dissolution. Balance as of 12/31/2009: $42,887.49 -
approximately 5-8 organizations still involved.

- Using

& assistance from the board, I am reviewing and fixing broken and

- Finish setting
up new Ecard system.

calendar for the EDC
- Complete the
re-do of the Rose Garden page.
- Work with the
Executive Committee to identify and nominate open board positions
and officers.

shutdown process
- Review & update
members email addresses - send "Member's Only" info.

review & update web pages.

These figures
were created by the
AWStats program offered online by our web host. We also track
usage with Google Analytics.
Monthly figures are now being posted on the
Top Twenty page. Current
average is 66,133
user sessions per month. Web page views are
averaging 208,294.
Users sessions decreased 15% in June after a
slight 3% dip in May. Page views
increased by 25% in June after a small 7% increase in
May.
2nd Quarter
2009
- Quarterly figures for user sessions increased 14% from 1st Quarter. Page views
increased 40% in the second quarter following a small 4%
increase in the
1st Quarter of 2009.
2008 Yearly Figures
show a 17% increase to 780,140 users requesting
1,960,314 pages
as compared to 668,203 users requesting 1,772,590 pages in 2007. This is
a 17% increase in users and a
14% increase in page views over 2007.
