Advertising/Marketing/Community Relations

Ongoing: Sidebar ad on the Palladium-Item web site. $175/month for 12 months. (Goal of changing ad at least once a month.)
Ongoing: Business card size ad in the Centerville News newsletter for 12 months (cost $25 membership + $100/12 ads)
Had brochure for the WayNet "How To" Center printed & sent with a invitation letter to Business, Sponsor, Gold & Platinum Members.

Issues & Projects for July/August/September

Added a few entries to the WayNet "How To" Center. It needs additional contributions to help populate it.
Purchased a 320 Gb portable hard drive to use for backup.
Website Maintenance:
- Finally located link checker software and I am slowly reviewing and fixing outdated links.
- Web site down the majority of 9/5/2007.
- Review and update page links & calendar events, as necessary. Take photos.

These figures were created by the AWStats program offered online by our web host.

Monthly figures are now being posted on the Top Twenty page. Current average is 54,290 user sessions per month. Web page views are averaging 145,813. Users sessions decreased 3% in July and 2% in August. Page views increased by 1% in July and 6% in August. The decrease in users was expected - change due to reduced hits to Levi Coffin House page once school is out and less Internet usage because of the nice weather.

2nd Quarter 2007 - Quarterly figures for user sessions increased by 12% over 1st Quarter after the 6% increase from the 4th Quarter of 2006. Page views decreased by 4% in the second quarter and after an increase of 17% over the 4th Quarter of 2006.

2006 Yearly Figures show a 42% increase to 657,784 users requesting 1,693,456 pages as compared to 463,839 users requesting 1,419,408 pages in 2005. This is a 42% increase in users and a 19% increase in page views over 2005.
