Log Analysis for
May.
Ran weekly and posted on the Members Only
page. Monthly user sessions increased 12% in September 2000,
after an 6% decrease in August. Page views increased also.
Interestingly, there recently has been less variation in the weekday and
weekend numbers. This indicates a solid local user base. As our
users become "return users", they will refer to WayNet for
specific items, with less general surfing. The "user" is
our more important number. The user sessions increased by 98% and
the page views by 103% over September of 2000.
3rd Quarter 2000
- Quarterly figures for user sessions rose 11% from 2nd Quarter '00
levels. This is the first time we have experienced a rise during the
3rd quarter - typically a time for outdoor activities. 3rd Quarter
'00 usage increased 111% over 3rd Quarter '99.
1999 Yearly Figures
show an outstanding 100,426 users requesting 310,586 pages. It's
difficult to do a true comparison as we did not purchase the logging
software until mid-February '99, but a rough estimate is that we nearly
tripled our visitors/hits from the previous year.
