MOONLIGHT PARADE KICKS OFF BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
Richmond is planning a year long party to celebrate it's 200th birthday in
August of 2006. The party begins with a Moonlight Parade on Saturday, August
27th at 8:00 p.m. The parade route will follow U.S.
40 from Southwest 1st Street, across the bridge to Southwest 13th Street, where
it will end at the Municipal Pool parking lot.

ARCHWAY DAYS IN CENTERVILLE
The 17th Annual Archway Days Festival will be Friday, August 26th, Saturday,
August 27th and Sunday, August 28th. There will be activities all day and
evening, including live entertainment, arts and crafts, parade, car show, pie

SYMPHONY IN THE PARK
Bring the family, lawn chairs & blankets and enjoy an evening of "Symphony on
the Prairie style" musical pleasure with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra under
the stars in Glen Miller Park on Roosevelt Hill. An instrument Petting Zoo will
be held from 6-6:30 p.m. prior to the concert for the children to try different
instruments from the orchestra.

Volunteers make history come to life at Pioneer Harvest Days at the Wayne County
Historical Museum. Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Wayne County
Historical Museum and Richmond's Bicentennial!
