FUND RAISING & GRANT WRITING CLASSES
The IU East Division of Extended Learning has two special classes of special interest to local organizations:

Fund Raising: Tuesday, April 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
This class will assist you in developing the steps required for a successful fund drive. Learn the professional manner in raising funds from whom to contact, the proper approach in contacting the potential giver, how to answer questions and, most importantly, how to convince the person to participate in the fund drive. Registration deadline: April 5

Writing Winning Grant Proposals: Tuesday, April 19, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Successful proposed writers start with the identified need and then seek the source of funding that best fits that need. Learn how to clearly define the organizational needs and objectives and then identify and evaluate potential funding sources. You’ll also learn what to do after you identify a potential funder. Registration deadline: April 12

Courses will be instructed by Charles Ball, Former President, Wayne County Foundation. Cost per workshop for the public is $20.
