SECTIONAL PAIRINGS ANNOUNCED
This IHSAA announced sectional pairings for 2005. Games will be held March 1, 4,
and 5th. Local matches are as follows:
Class 4A:
Sectional 8 Richmond (6 teams)
Game 1 – Anderson Highland vs. Muncie Southside
Game 2 – Muncie Central vs. Anderson
Game 3 – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2.
Game 4 – Richmond vs. Greenfield Central
Game 5 – Championship: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4.
Class 2A:
Sectional 42 Hagerstown (6 teams)
Game 1 – Cambridge City Lincoln vs. Northeastern
Game 2 – Winchester vs. Centerville
Game 3 – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2.
Game 4 – Hagerstown vs. Union County
Game 5 – Championship: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4.
6-Team Fields will play two first-round games on Tuesday beginning at
6 p.m. (except as noted), two semifinals on Friday beginning at 6 p.m.,
and the championship on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Note: The two teams
drawing first-round byes will play in the second semifinal game on Friday.
