YOU'RE INVITED!
WayNet's Annual Meeting has been set for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September
30th. It will be held in the Landrum Bolling Center on the
Earlham Campus, National Road West, Richmond, Indiana
WEB SITE AWARDS:
Officers for the upcoming year will be elected and the winners of
WayNet's 2003 Web Site Awards will be announced. The public is
welcome and all WayNet members are encouraged to attend.
PROGRAM:
Diane Roberts will be our featured speaker. She will tell us about the
New Innovation Center, an ambitious project to turn an outdated Uptown
building into an entrepreneurial business incubator and state-of-the-art
training and video conferencing facility.
REFRESHMENTS:
Enjoy cookies and cider as WayNet.org celebrates it's SIXTH birthday.
WayNet began in 1997 with 12 members. We now have 147 members
and receive over 44,000 visitors and 131,000 hits a month!

What's not to love about the IU East Lively Arts Series? This year's Series
kicks off tonight at 7:00 p.m. with the Stardust Ensemble in Vivian Auditorium
in Whitewater Hall on the IU East campus.

Another busy weekend in Wayne County:
The Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County kicks off the weekend with an "I Can Achieve" pledge rally at J.C. Penney's at the Richmond Square Mall on Friday night.
Our neighbors in nearby New Paris, Ohio have invited us to enjoy their Fall festival, AppleFest 2003...going on all weekend.
Our Jewish friends celebrate Rosh Hashanah.
Seton Alumni Association is sponsoring a traditional Oktoberfest at 455 South 5th (Knights OF St. John) on Saturday, Noon to 10 p.m.
Watch teams of city employees from Police, Fire, Sanitary, Streets, Parks, and City Building as they compete in a charity single elimination softball event to benefit the United Way. (McBride Stadium)
Stretch your experiences with an evening of exploration through the Cope Environmental Center's trails. Search for nocturnal creatures, call for owls, and learn about night vision. (8 p.m. Saturday)
The Freedom Baptist Church is celebrating a special Homecoming with service at 10 am, pitch-in meal following morning worship.
