FINDING DISASTER COVERAGE
ON THE INTERNET
As the nation was stunned by the horrific terrorist attacks in New York and
Washington, many turned to the Internet for updates. Many sites were overloaded
and took some time to come up to speed. Please keep in mind that the quickest
way to access breaking information is via TV and radio.
For those of you looking for detailed information on the disaster, here are some links:
YOU CAN HELP - GIVE BLOOD
Wayne County residents may assist in the national disaster relief by
donating blood at the Community Blood Center.
Their hours are:
Wednesday - 12 Noon to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday - 12 Noon to 7:30 p.m.
Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday - call - they may add Saturday hours.

on Thursday, September 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. WayNet will be there to
answer any questions you may have about becoming a WayNet member and to listen
to your suggestions and ideas.
Don't miss all they yummy goodies at the Taste of Wayne County from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, tickets for Taste of Wayne County can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce office at 33 South 7th Street in Richmond.
