STATE PARK ENTRANCE FEE
INCREASES
The entrance fee for Indiana's State Parks and Recreation areas was recently
increased for the first time in 14 years. The fee will now be $3.00 per carload.

WHITEWATER MEMORIAL STATE
PARK LAKE TO BE DRAINED
Plans are underway for the lake at Whitewater Memorial State Park to be
drained in 2001 so that repairs can be made on spillway. Follow the progress on

GRANT WRITING SEMINAR
Learn how to write a grant proposal at Indiana University East. Grant seeking
and fundraising skills are now more important than ever. Grant monies are
available! Come and learn the process for developing a grant proposal. This
course will take you through the preparation and research stages necessary when
writing a grant. It will teach aspects of organizational readiness, types of
grants available, and the elements of a written proposal.

EMPLOYMENT OPENING -
Program Coordinator / Case Management
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wayne and Union Counties has an opening for
Program Coordinator/Case Management.
Responsibilities include:
Intake procedures for clients and volunteers, home visits and interviews, police
background checks,
assess and train volunteers, communication with recruitment centers such as
elementary schools, junior high schools, filing cases, supervise and monitor
matches, database management, all other administrative tasks associated with
case management. Also responsible for planning program service enhancements and
improvement of case management functions. The Program Coordinator will answer to
the Executive Director and will also assist as needed in events, recruitment of
volunteers and clients, and community outreach and presentations. Some travel
throughout Wayne and Union Counties will
