Advertising
Ran ads on radio 101.3 beginning mid-August, print ads in the Palladium-Item, distributed flyers.  Participated in the Chamber's Business Expo on Sept. 16. Had an interview with Pam Fultz of WKBV on September 25th.

Will beginning running 10 second ads, once a week, prior to sports news on the hour and 1/2 hour between 5:30 and 8:30 on KICKS96. Will distribute flyer in Taste of Home "goodie bag" - approximate coverage 2,000.

the Annual Meeting (received radio news coverage and "county news blurb" in the Pal-Item).
Sent out press release on our quarterly user session/hit figures.  (Received radio news coverage.)

Log Analysis
Ran weekly and posted on the Members Only page.  Currently we are running over 3,426  users per month and 9,626 hits to the entire site.   Weekly averages are 1000 visitors and 2200  hits. September numbers were down slightly because our server was down for 1 entire day (Sunday of Labor Day weekend).  Third quarter figures are quite impressive with an almost 40% increase in user sessions and 29% increase in hits.

September and October Achievements
Created Hunting page and continually update links as necessary to maintain accurate links.  PLEASE notify me if you find a link that is not working! 
Changed the set up of the password protected files to allow access by those using Netscape Navigator.  Changed the WayNet home page to add new navigation "drop down" boxes. 

Distributed new glossy WayNet brochure.

Visited Levi Coffin house and took new pictures for use on the page - updated page and found new sites to request links from - received!

Prepared for Business Expo and WayNet annual meeting.

Added new HEALTH and HUMAN SERVICES section.

Did not receive grant from Wayne County Foundation - but were encouraged to try again in February.

Took pictures of homes in Old Richmond - used for front page and updated Old Richmond page.

Updated calendar as required.  Posted Community-Wide Network notes from WayNet annual meeting.

Ran 4th quarter invoices.

Met with Cliff Fry regarding potential long-term funding options for WayNet.

Had a GREAT vacation - THANKS!

Received 501(c) 4 papers from Federal Government - sent in necessary forms to Indiana State Government.

Start entering info for Greens Fork page - will be ready by the end of this week, probably.

Sales calls: Midwest Orthopedic Institute, RISCO, West End Savings and Loan.

On-Going Projects for November

Sales calls
Work on radio ad wording.
Continue to distribute flyers.
Send letter to non-profits notifying them of our services.
Begin work on a "treasure hunt" for teachers to use.
Work with schools to create a student-run "community seminar" to teach adults to use the Internet/WayNet specifically.
Continue to look at alternative funding sources.
