Fossiliferous limestone of the Ordovician Period in the Whitewater Gorge is 425 Million years old. It is one of only two places in the United States where this type of limestone is exposed to the surface.

Music will be the extra-special treat for your Fourth of July picnic at Glen Miller Park this year.  Performances from the Battle of the Bands will occur from 1 to 6 and the Richmond Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7:30.  Fireworks at dark, of course!

A new indoor skateboard park, Boards, Inc., has opened in the same building as the Cycling and Fitness Warehouse at 213 North 3rd Street in Richmond, Indiana.
